Battery Enclosures
The ABC-series of battery chargers utilize a series of free-standing battery enclosures that may also be configured as consoles. The consoles contain separate charger and battery compartments whereas the battery enclosures are only for batteries.
These NEMA-1 enclosures are available in five sizes. The battery enclosures have removable kick-plates that allow access for a forklift during installation. Natural ventilation is provided via louvers or cutouts in the rear and top.
Types G1, G2, G2D, G3 and G3D are available. Larger batteries can be accommodated by multiple battery enclosures which can be mounted side by side or separately. Internally, these enclosures can be equipped with shelves or stepped racks according to the particular battery requirements. Typically, semi-sealed batteries like VRLA types, would utilize shelves whereas vented wet cell batteries would utilize stepped racks. ABC Sales can select the proper enclosure for your needs. Battery Charger Consoles
These NEMA-1 and NEMA-3R consoles are available in six sizes. The consoles have removable kick-plates that allow access for a forklift during installation. Each console has separate battery and charger compartments. The NEMA-1 consoles have compartments with natural ventilation via louvers or cutouts in the rear and top. The NEMA-3R CBC4 console has ventilation at the bottom, rear and top dripcap.
Types CBC1, CBC2, CBC2D, CBC3, CBC3D and CBC4 are available. Larger batteries can be accommodated by multiple enclosures which can be mounted side by side or separately. Internally, these consoles can be equipped with shelves or stepped racks according to the particular battery requirements.
